About us
August was born from a simple idea: to show flowers differently.
Living in the Netherlands, surrounded by one of the world’s biggest flower industries, we felt there was room for a more modern, thoughtful and personal approach to floristry.
August grew from a genuine love for flowers and a desire to create bouquets that feel special, not ordinary. We create lush, carefully composed arrangements using fresh flowers, with attention to every detail — from the bouquet itself to the way it arrives at your door.
Our name, August, comes from the month of the founder’s birth. It is also one of the most abundant months of the year — a time of harvest, colour and flowers in full bloom.
This idea of abundance is at the heart of what we do. We believe every bouquet should feel generous, thoughtfully composed and made with care — from the flowers we choose to the way they arrive at your door.
